Genius Sidebar and The Beatles

I did a quick google and found a few other posts about this. I have half a dozen beatles albums and iTunes Genius does not work for any of them. This is obviously explicitly programmed in – but I don’t know why.
Though apple may only be able to make recommendations on music available in itunes, which limits it’s usefulness.

It may have to do with all of the lawsuits that Apple, Inc. has been implemented in vs. the ‘Apple Co.’ or whatever it is called that has The Beatles controling rights or something. The original lawsuit had to do with Apple Macintosh’s having the ability to make sound. So they made the sound clip Sosumi… ‘So Sue Me’. They were sued again with the release of the ability to make & record music. Then again when the iPod came out. Each time Apple paid the lawsuit and didn’t look back agreeing that they wouldn’t continue to further new software/hardware for music purposes. Hope this was more than ‘mildy useful’!
